Our three year promise - how we continue to support our graduates
For up to three years after completing your course you are entitled to help, support and guidance from the Careers and Employment service, including:
- One to one appointments with an Employability Adviser or Careers Consultant, which can be over the phone if that's more convenient for you.
- Our online jobs board
- Help with What can I do with my degree?
- Tailoring your CV for your job applications
Our postgraduate Career Management and Employability Module
Our 10 week course Postgraduate Career Management and Employability Module will offer you the chance to enhance your employability prospects and give you an insight into postgraduate level learning. For first degree, full-time, home students that have completed their course this year, this course is completely free.
Updating your Careers website login to access vacancies, careers advice and careers events
Once you’ve completed your course, you need to set up your new password and manage your own graduate account for the Careers website.
Destinations of Leavers (DLHE) Census - tell us what you're doing after your course
Every year the University of Derby, on behalf of the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), asks all students who have recently completed a course to take part in the Destinations of Leavers of Higher Education census (DLHE) to find out what they are doing in terms of work and/ or study.
