Postgraduate opportunities

Developing your career

Our links with industry, professional qualifications and career support will help you succeed, whatever your goals. You may already be sure of your career path and know exactly which course you need to take to get you there. Perhaps you have already embarked on your career but need extra qualifications to progress or to switch sectors.

At Derby you can choose from a range of professional qualifications, from our MBA and LLM to various teacher training options. Alternatively, our online courses provide flexible study which allows you to continue working while gaining your qualifications.

We develop our courses in partnership with employers and industry bodies to provide you with skills relevant to today’s workplace. Placements and work-based projects will give you the professional edge, and in many cases you can tailor your postgraduate studies to your specific career needs.
