On completion of this course you should be able to:
- Demonstrate a critical understanding of medications utilised in the treatment/management phase of disease or injury.
- Competently assess, interpret and identify treatment elements with consideration of the required communication and education including possible referral and/or discharge of complex patients.
- Demonstrate critical awareness of the political, social and economic factors including the significance of relationships between primary and emergency care and other stakeholders in securing optimum care for the patient.
