Prohibition List Check

Courses that lead to Qualified Teacher Status require you to complete a Prohibition List Check. Prohibition List checks are conducted to determine suitability for qualified teacher status. The check looks to establish any previous unacceptable conduct, relevant conviction or where an act may bring the profession into disrepute. These will be conducted automatically by the admissions office and you will be informed if you have not met this requirement.

Important: Enrolment will be withdrawn/restricted for any applicants/students who have not satisfied this requirement within 2 weeks of starting their course or less where students are expected to attend on placement straight away.
