I always felt as though help was available when I needed it – I couldn’t have asked any more of the lecturers and tutors. I managed to secure a job at ESG Rail, a vastly growing railway consultancy based in Derby, as a Marketing Analyst, before my course was completed. Now I’m able to practice the skills I learned on a day to day basis and I’m really enjoying it.”

Nick Turner, Senior Lecturer in Marketing from the University of Derby, added: “I know that the combination of the abilities and efforts of these graduates and many more of our students validates our focus in the Derby Business School on nurturing and developing their employability skills, alongside the underpinning of knowledge.

“This is reflected in both how well prepared our students are to ‘hit the ground running’ with their new employer, and our excellent graduate employment figures.”
