Event overview

The annual tourism leaflet swop is changing with the times. Come along, bring your local tourism business ambitions, tips, ideas and questions, as well as your printed and digital collateral. Arrive and depart when it suits you, but be warned, there will be lots going on, so you may want to stay longer than you think!

To Exchange is to; natter, share, gather, swap, barter, reciprocate, give to one another, converse, discuss, chat, browse, quid pro quo and more!

The Leaflet Exchange: Book a Free table space to display your printed collateral etc where you can chat with delegates. Limited spaces available see booking form for details. Or, simply put your leaflets on one of the communal tables for people to help themselves.

Either way you’ll need to keep some attention on your printed materials to top them up as needed, and take away any left when you leave – we can only recycle anything left behind.

Café Exchange: Light refreshments will be available free of charge throughout the day on a help yourself basis to encourage informal chats, opportunities to collaborate, and keep you fuelled up for a really useful, practical exchange of ideas, mutual support, and more.

Advice Surgeries: Informal 10 to 15 minute sessions to help you master the tools we all use. Bring your digital device. No pre-booking required.

Mini Workshops: 15 -20 minute sessions in the conference room, each topic will be run 3 times over the day, if a session is full you can register for the next one.

We represent the Peak District and Derbyshire’s valuable tourism sector, which generates £1.9 billion and attracts 35 million visitors annually*. We work in partnership with national tourism bodies such as VisitBritain and VisitEngland to maximise the Peak District and Derbyshire's profile across the world. We support the area's tourism businesses through our membership programme, enabling them to grow by offering business support, opportunities to network, chances to advertise to wide audiences and access to national and international marketing campaigns.
