Promoting Sustainable Performance

This free business health check tool is specifically designed to offer practical guidance on how to improve the performance of your business.

The growth of small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) is integral to successful regional economies, local communities, and entrepreneurs. However, only a limited number of SMEs actively pursue growth.

Most firms are constrained by factors such as employee skills, finance, innovation, and strategic planning. To support businesses in addressing these obstacles, Professor Mark Gilman has developed Promoting Sustainable Performance (PSP), a diagnostic tool focused on helping SMEs grow quicker, work better, and perform more competitively.

Why should I participate?

This intensive online analysis will be used to enhance our insight into SME growth, so that we can continue to support the local business community. More importantly, it supports you and your business directly. By participating, you will benefit from:

How has PSP benefitted other businesses?

PSP has successfully supported SME development in Kent, The West Midlands, Canada, Indonesia and Calgary. Previous participants saw benefits of increased revenue and employment following involvement. It also helped improve how firms manage relationships and networks and develop practices to branch into new markets.

PSP is open to SMEs based in the Derby/Derbyshire, regardless of age or sector. All data collected is treated confidentially in accordance with data protection standards.
