About

I am a lecturer in financial economics. I believe that each student has his or her own unique potential; my role as a lecturer will be to help each student develop his or her learning capacity and style.

Teaching responsibilities

As part of the Economics & Finance team, I'm responsible for a number of financial modules. These include financial markets and instruments, investing and financial market behaviour and mathematics for economics. Students in my modules are using real-world financial data to acquire the latest practical skills in the finance sector. They can flexibly apply their knowledge to study current capital market problems. That's the main purpose of every module I have.

Research interests

As a young academic, I am primarily interested in derivative products, credit risk management and financial contagion. I have participated in a number of international conferences and published articles in economic and financial journals. I led the Bloomberg Trading Challenge in 2019 as well. My current research concerns credit derivatives and the pricing of assets in financial markets.
