About

I am the Programme Leader for the BEng and MEng in Civil Engineering and have over 10 years of teaching experience. I have a MEng (Hons) Civil Engineering with Construction Management, University of Leeds. I am a member of the Internal Masonry Society (MIMS) and have experience as a civil and structural engineer within a design consultancy. I am currently reading for a PhD in Masonry Design from the University of Leeds.

Teaching responsibilities

I am module leader for the following modules: Construction Materials Technology, Structural Analysis Theory and Design 2; Structural Design Project; Structural Design 2.

I am a dissertation supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

• Masonry movement monitoring through scanning
