About

I am a Senior Lecturer in Film Production specialising in screenwriting. 

My background is in film and television drama production where I have directed over 400 hours of network television globally across a broad range of platforms including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Netflix and Amazon. I have received five BAFTAS for my work and been recognised internationally by several awards. I also produce and direct a variety of theatre productions. 

I have written several commissioned screenplays and stage plays. 

I sit on the BBC drama commissioning panel and the Monaco Film Festival jury.

Teaching responsibilities

Currently, I teach level six (third year) students on a module entitled Independent Creative Practice working over the year to achieve full feature-length scripts. 

I also specialise in teaching film directing and producing.
