About

I am a lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging on the BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography programme.

Teaching responsibilities

I teach on a variety of modules including Principles of Radiographic Imaging, Science and Technology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Developing Professional Practice.

Professional interests

Cardiac Imaging; Interventional Radiography; Lithotripsy.

Qualifications

BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, University of Derby.

I am working towards my PG Cert. in Higher Education at the University of Derby.

Experience in industry

I qualified as a radiographer in 1997. Following qualification, I worked for Nottingham University Hospitals Trust at the City Hospital site. I spent the first eighteen months working in plain film. From there, I went on to work in Interventional Radiography, CT and Lithotripsy. As part of my role in Interventional Radiography, I worked in the cardiac catheter labs at the Trent Cardiac Centre.
