About

I am a senior lecturer in the School of Humanities and Creative Arts. I contribute teaching to the undergraduate programme in Animation. My research interests are in animated collage, documentary, and how animation can engage with history and identity. 

Teaching responsibilities

I lead modules on preproduction and visual development for animation, animation production, and professional practice. 

Research interests

I am interested in the ways in which the distinctive language of animation can tell us about society, culture and history. My practice research aims to contribute to debates about the cross-over of documentary with animation.
