Studied Mental Health Nursing at University of Derby. Winner of Student Nursing Times Award 2018. Qualified 2018 (RMN).
Worked in Community Mental Health Teams in South Derbyshire and Derby City. Experience of working in Recovery Team, Assertive Outreach Team, Pathfinder Team, setting up and running of depot clinic and Clozapine clinic, setting up and running of Wellbeing Pathway.
Held several elected posts in Royal College of Nursing, including Chair of Derbyshire Branch.
Favourite thing about nursing: Making a difference in people’s lives, being a small part of their recovery journey.
I live with my husband, 2 grumpy teenagers and my beautiful cat called Spook.
I enjoy reading, gardening, being outdoors in nature, travelling and discovering new places
