I possess a wealth of programme development, programme management, process management, coaching experience, lecturing delivery experience, and practical operational events and hospitality experience. I have a proven track record of assisting students to achieve success, based on a variety of academic and personal indicators year on year.

I am accomplished in lecturing, coaching, training and motivating students and team members towards achieving their academic goals by focusing on individual or group students’ needs. I believe that effective leadership and a hands-on approach to management and lecturing result in increased skills and knowledge, and maximize an individual’s long‐term personal potential.  It also gives them the tools to develop their own life skills enabling them to have successful careers.

Teaching responsibilities

My background is based in hotel operations which have had a specialism in food and beverage and people management. This is reflected in my love and passion for the subjects that I teach:

My teaching responsibilities span both undergraduate and postgraduate students and include business modules such as HRM, industry-specific theory subjects such as International Hotel Management and I am also involved in practical operational events delivery for real work learning.

Professional interests

Currently, my role at the University is Head of Digital Teaching, Learning and Assessment for CCHT. My job is to look for opportunities to enhance students' digital skills within the curriculum. I have a specific interest in the use of online management simulations and currently teach Marketing and Hotel Revenue Management through the medium of online simulation.
