About

I have been lecturing in nursing for the best part of 16 years and am now firmly established at the University of Derby. My main areas of teaching is within level 4 but I also support at dissertation level 7 . I am academic lead for Chesterfield Royal Hospital. I work hard to support the teaching and learning of all our students and to help them enjoy the learning process. 

Teaching responsibilities

• Predominately level 4 teaching, marking and supporting across all aspects of  the first year syllabus
• Internal moderator for level 6 dissertation and SIM support, level 6
• Supervisor Level 7, dissertation

Research interests

My area of interest is pedagological: the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning in simulation including immersive technology and virtual reality.
