About

I started working at the University of Derby in 2015 and over the years, I have been involved in several research projects and teaching modules within the Psychology Department and Centre for Compassion Research and Training.

I started my PhD in 2018, pursuing my interests in compassion, leadership, and narcissism. My thesis is rooted in evolutionary functional analysis which suggests that leadership evolved from dominant-subordinate relationships and that these can be distinguished along dimensions of prosocial and antisocial leadership styles. Alongside my PhD, I work at the Compassionate Mind Foundation

Thesis title

An exploration of antisocial versus prosocial leadership styles
