About

I joined the University after spending five years working at QUAD in Derby developing a European-funded project aimed at offering business support to the Creative Industries and prior to that across a number of marketing and business development roles with a focus on the leisure and tourism industries.

I work within the University’s Business School as a Business Development Manager, helping SMEs across our region to access the funded support and training available to them via the University.

I'm a creative community champion, building networks for creative and entrepreneurial people and businesses. My aim is to connect people to help grow businesses and develop thriving communities.

I am a marketeer with more than twenty years of experience. I love to host, speak and organise events.

I have over 20 years of experience in marketing and business development mostly in a B2B context.

Additional interests and activities

I'm the host and organiser of CreativeMornings/Derby. A free breakfast lecture series for the creative community and part of the world's largest face-to-face creative network. We meet once a month to eat breakfast, drink coffee and listen to a talk by someone marvellous.
