As a senior lecturer in Initial Teacher Education, I aim to combine my practical experiences in schools with theoretical and research-based ideas to support students to become the best teachers they can be.

Experience in industry

I have over 25 years of experience teaching science in a wide variety of secondary schools. This includes being a subject leader and recently, 6 years as a senior leader in a Derby secondary school where I led on teaching and learning, personal development, CEIAG, and the core curriculum.
