Experience in industry

I studied Fashion at Kent Institute of Art & Design specialising in design, pattern construction and manufacture. On graduation I gained a position within the Central Buying Office for the House of Fraser in London supporting the buyer and merchandiser in the Men's Casual Wear department. Here I also designed the in house range for the Men's 'Weekender' range. Before leaving the HOF I had gained the position of Merchandiser within the Men's Knitwear, Designer wear and Ralph Lauren departments for the company's 62 stores nationwide. I then completed a post graduate course in Learning and Teaching at Nottingham Trent University whilst working within further education as Fashion Course Leader, as well as undertaking freelance design work.
