Teaching responsibilities

I am a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography with a passion for teaching and learning. As well as being the Programme Lead for Diagnostic Radiography and a Senior Lecturer, I work one day per week in an NHS hospital.

I lead modules on both the BSc Diagnostic Radiography and MSc (pre registration) courses.

Professional interests

My main professional interest is in CT and neuro. I am a Reporting Radiographer and independently report CT head scans for the NHS.

Research interests

As an undergraduate I researched factors causing violence and aggression against radiographers. For my MSc I researched Radiographers' perceptions of patients' experience of CT virtual colonography.

Membership of professional bodies

I am a member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Society of Radiographers (SOR).

18 months experience working in the Republic or Ireland as a Diagnostic Radiographer.

Additional interests and activities

I am a keen motorcyclist and enjoy travelling.
