I have worked as a technician for over 35 years with a wide experience of working in different subject areas, Geology, Geography, Environmental Science and Sport Science.

I am currently a Technical Team Leader with a passion for inspirational technical leadership and the Technician Commitment, leading the  Technicians who work in Forensic Science, Biomedical Science and Sport Science.

Experience in industry

As well as working as a technician in Higher Education for over 30 years, I have previously spent a number of years working as a Principal Analyst (running ICP-MS and ICP-OES) for a company specialising in the analysis of waters, effluents, soils, and cementitious products particularly associated with contaminated land.
