About

As a senior lecturer, I teach across several business subjects and sit within the Business and Management team. I am passionate about external engagement and increasing student’s employability skills. I am known for connecting businesses with students to achieve mutually beneficial relationships.

Teaching responsibilities

I currently teach on People Resourcing and Talent Management, Understanding People and Organisations, Creating Entrepreneurial Networks, Business Communication and Decision Making, and Managing Performance Through People.

I am also supporting those on the Senior Leader Apprenticeships.

I am a Fellowof the CIPD

Experience in industry

I began my career in Banking, then after reaching managerial level, I moved into Newspapers. I held several senior management roles, across a number of disciplines including HR and Learning and Development. Before coming to Derby, I worked in education management and as a lecturer in the private sector.
