    Structure, certificates and assessment

    You will study this course 100% online. It comprises a range of activities including:

    There is no obligation for you to undertake every activity, but being involved in all aspects of the course will help you to achieve a well-rounded knowledge about social pedagogy.

    There is no graded assessment. Upon completion of the whole course, you will be awarded with an e-certificate.

    Course units

    The course is made up of 4 units, each will require approximately 5 hours of study.

    The course is designed to gradually develop your knowledge about social pedagogy, from discovering what social pedagogy is in the first unit, to being confident enough to apply your knowledge to practice situations by the end of the course.

    This unit provides an introduction to social pedagogy by looking at what social pedagogy is including the definitions and the background to this approach.

    In this unit we will investigate a range of social pedagogical models and review how they can be used and applied in practice.

    In this unit we will examine different reflective frameworks that can be used to enhance your practice.

    In this unit we will be applying social pedagogical approaches and research to real-life situations.
