Unit summary

In this unit, you have considered strategy implementation and specifically discussed important considerations such as identifying who will do what and where to access resources. You also learnt about the importance of factors such as communication. In addition, you recognised that it is important to ensure alignment between organisational structure and culture and strategy because it helps to smoothen the implementation process and eliminate extra hurdles. You also considered that effective implementation of strategy depends largely on the traits of leaders and managers engaged in the implementation, as well as in the development, process.
