Unit summary

In this unit, we first discussed risk’s impact on performance and the cost of risks to organisations. We then looked at project and operational risk. Within the context of project risks, we looked at the uncertainty of projects, their lifecycle and PRAM. Within the operational risk management section, we provided some definitions and insights on how to measure such risk. We concluded the unit with a discussion on ERM and its global approach in considering all the risks that companies face.
