Welcome from the Academic Lead

Welcome to this short taster, taken from the 'Managing Cultural Issues in Service Delivery' module that forms a part of the online International Hospitality Business Management University Advanced Diploma course. This course covers a range of subjects relevant to the hospitality industry in an international context, such as cultural diversity, strategic operations management, management and leadership, financial analysis, service quality management, and consumer behaviour.

You will be guided through your studies by our team of academics, who are industry specialists with many years of experience in the hospitality and business sectors. Moreover, in addition to completing individual learning activities, you will be holding a series of discussions with your fellow students, the vast majority of whom are currently employed in the industry in various countries. Through these discussions, you will learn from one another and build a global hospitality professional network.

By the time you reach the end of the course, you will have gained the knowledge and skills to evaluate the critical aspects of hospitality management in an international context. Through learning activities and interactions with your peers, you will have developed real insights into hospitality management, which will enhance your confidence and career prospects.
