Influences on Decision-making have two approaches: Individual or Organisational. Individual differences are:

• Personality
• Gender
• Mental ability

Organisations can constrain decision-makers by imposing rules or creating deviations from the rational model. Organisational constraints are:

• Performance evaluation
• Reward systems
• Formal regulations
• System-imposed time constraints
