About the role

We are looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Marketing to develop, leading and teach a range of modules in Marketing on a 12 month maternity cover contract. Experience of working in or teaching branding, marketing communications, strategy and marketing research would be advantageous. Other responsibilities will include research supervision and working on development and delivery of commercial programmes and/or short courses. A flexible approach to teaching on other marketing modules across UG, PG and professional programmes is required.

If successful, you would be expected to:

You will work as part of a diverse and committed team and be expected to engage positively with the development of the curriculum as well as having module leadership and other relevant responsibilities. You will be expected to have successful teaching experience within Higher Education and be able to demonstrate how your pedagogic practice engages student learning, delivers a positive student experience and addresses future expectations of students within the workplace. You should be able to provide evidence of your knowledge and expertise in your subject area from a range of perspectives and how this integrates with and informs the business context and climate.

As this is a maternity cover post, the focus of your role will be largely on teaching, learning, assessment and student support.
