Derbyshire Festival of Business

The festival will help to connect and support local organisations, whilst showcasing Derbyshire’s extensive business capability to future clients, customers, and investors.

What is the festival about?

The Derbyshire Business Festival offers a wide range of events, taking place across Derbyshire this autumn.

The festival will help to connect local organisations, whilst showcasing Derbyshire’s extensive business capability to future clients, customers, and investors. There will be a wide range of free workshops, masterclasses and networking activities offered throughout the festival, helping to support businesses within the region.

There will also be an opportunity to participate in the Derbyshire Business and Enterprise Awards ceremony and a three-day business exposition hosted in Buxton, Chesterfield and Derby.

The University of Derby and the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce are co-ordinating the schedule of activities in collaboration with local businesses. The aim is to offer help and support, educate, share information and knowledge, whilst creating forums for networking, engagement and business growth.

Who is the event for?

Whether you’re a business leader looking to create new connections and find out the latest regional developments, or a graduate wanting to develop your newly acquired skills within a local organisation, the event has something for everyone.

This brand-new initiative has been created in support of the regional post-Covid economic recovery plan and intends to put Derbyshire’s business community firmly on the map. We hope you will join us to find out more about the wealth of opportunities available within the local area.

How do I get involved?
