I am a Lecturer across both the FdSc and BSc (Hons) programmes and module lead for the practical and subsequent theoretical aspects of the programmes which include a level 4 Anatomy and Physiology.  

My role as part of the team also involves being a personal tutor to a cohort of students offering support and advice as well as having a role as a dissertation supervisor.

I work closely with work placement providers to ensure students are developing their skills, putting into practice their theoretcial knowledge and monitoring to ensure students are gaining the required experience to develop throughout their programme in preparation for employment.

I am involved with organising Wellness on Wheels, visiting various places external and onsite to deliver wellness activities to workplaces and communities.

I attend a local football club giving pre and post massage to the Development Squad attending training and matches.

I enjoy visiting spas whenever possible and networking with people from the industry. I also enjoy learning new treatments to keep up with the future skills and trends.

I have co-written two chapters, Guest Service and Guest Journey and Spa Operations Management in International Spa Management Principles and Practice book edited by Sarah Rawlinson and Tim Heap (2017).
