I am an innovative, imaginative and versatile Lecturer in Management and International Facilities, Strategic Operational Planning, with experience gained from running real time international contracts, established in business planning and learning and development, with the ability to maximise resources and personnel at every level.

I have worked within a Consultancy Role Employed by the Qatar Foundation to complete an ISO based quality strategic security review. The task also reviewed security threat levels, policy documents, escalation processes and corporate risks. This in-depth audit helped to create a strategic security matrix for buildings within education city (University Campus).

The review included an audit of the current security manning levels, training, performance, costing’s, security rationalisation and the delivery of IAHSS educational modules, which I personally delivered.

Trainer introduced national vocational qualifications (NVQ) to soft service and clinical staff within a busy hospital, delivering vocational training modules to hospital porters, cleaners and to patient care assistance, in total training was delivered to 840 individual staff members, of varying ages and cultures.

I created and implemented a career progression pathway for Qatari Graduates, allowing new starters to follow a defined career path, which included short term placements and mile stone events; such as half yearly reviews supported by critical and supportive feedback from myself and from each departmental head, where a Graduate had been placed into and eventually received a long-term role.

Research interests

For the last 5 years my thesis has been my main area of research. I have focused on culture in the workplace and within organisations. My studies have also opened my horizon in regard to organisational Vision, Mission and Value statements and how these are perceived by a multicultural workforce (with a specific bias towards the MENA region).
