About

I  completed my Masters degree (Mint Prof) within the Department of Architecture, at the University of Pretoria (South Africa) in 2006.  After completion of my studies I worked for various architectural firms in South Africa, and an interior design firm in London, UK.  My research focusses on sustainable interior design, the new emerging regenerative paradigm, and HIV/AIDS curriculum integration which I integrate into my teaching. I have achieved a Green Star SA Accredited Professional – Interiors, and now lecture a variety of 1st to 3rd-year subjects in the BA (Hons) Interior Design Programme.

Teaching responsibilities

I teach on a variety of design and construction/technical services modules.

Research interests

My research focus is on regenerative interior design possibilities; multimodal forms of communication in interior design; HIV/AIDS curriculum integration; decolonisation of curricula; and guerrilla marketing in interior design.
