An Introduction to Moderation and Mediation

Session overview

This interactive, face-to-face, workshop is ideal for students, academics and those working in industry and corporate settings across all levels.

Learners will be introduced to PROCESS mediation and the single mediator model in addition to parallel mediators and direct, indirect, and total effects. Learners will also be guided in the interpretations and fundamentals of moderation. Finally, learners will review the testing, interpreting, and visualising of interactions.

By the end of this training learners will be able to:

• design studies that allow testing mediation and moderation effects
• conduct a mediation analysis with single and parallel mediators using PROCESS
• conduct a moderation analysis using PROCESS
• interpret and report results of mediation and moderation analyses

Learners will be provided with:

• support from highly skilled and experienced quantitative researchers
• copies of any slides or materials provided
• refreshments and catering throughout the day
