How to apply for halls if you're a Clearing applicant

If you refer yourself through Clearing and have received written confirmation of your offer, follow these simple steps to secure your room in halls. Please be aware that some rooms will no longer be available at this late stage. 

• We recommend that you wait a few hours after accepting your offer to allow time for the updated admissions data to come through to our accommodation system
• To apply online you need to set up a Student Living account. You will need your 9-digit student number starting with 100 – you should find this on correspondence from our Admissions team. After you have entered your number, click ‘Generate Password’ and a password will be emailed to you
• Pay your £50 deposit to secure your booking. Remember, this will be deducted from your first term’s rent 
  The Student Housing Centre will be more than happy to help if you are experiencing any problems while applying for halls. They can also advise on what private accommodation is available.
