eBikes Derby

ebikes Derby is no ordinary bikeshare.

With access to a fleet of 200 SMART electric bikes, the University have partnered with the cutting-edge bikeshare market that brings a new, modern transport solution to the urban centre of Derby.

As a student they provide a sleek, fast, fun and sustainable way to travel throughout the city - to class, to halls, to the shops or the city centre.

With 30 docks positioned all around the city, ebikes Derby will be the largest electric bikeshare in the UK. Supplied by US-based JUMP bikes, these highly innovative ebikes are top of the range, leading the field of smart mobility.

You can register to use the ebikes by downloading the app or registering on the website.  At only 3p a minute (minimum cost £1), it really is a cost-effective alternative to taking the bus or driving. ebikes can be rented and returned to any of the 30 docks around the city, 12 of which have been located in and around halls of residence and Derby Campus sites. Using the ebikes' GPS capabilities, they can also be returned to secure sites outside of official docks for a small fee.

Join the fun on social, follow ebikes Derby on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - don't forget to include us too using @DerbyUni or #DerbyUni.
