DCFC Exclusive VIP Event

An Afternoon with Derby County Football Club

We hosted an exclusive VIP event at Derby County Football Club on Monday 14 April 2025. The event was hosted by RamsTV Presenter Owen Bradley and Dr Andy Hooton, Head of School of Sport and Exercise Science, welcomed guests. This was followed by a Q&A session with a panel consisting of Stephen Pearce (DCFC CEO), Matt Gardiner (DCFC Assistant Head Coach), Lauren Asquith (Head of Lifelong Learning), Kane Wilson (DCFC First Team Player), as well as Chris Hall (Programme Leader for Sport Journalism).

It was an amazing opportunity for guests to get a rare glimpse into the world of professional sport. They also had the chance to connect with our academics and current students, as well as participate in a changing room and pitch side tour.
