Practical, academic, creative, real. This course gives you marketing as it is, and as it applies to a specific area. It won’t just make you a professional marketer, it’ll make you a marketing specialist. A rare and highly sought-after breed.

Relevant, respected, rewarding

Combining marketing with another subject gives you an appealing mix of skills to put on the table of employers in your chosen marketing area.

Our academics fill the course with their varied experiences of real-life marketing and theoretical knowledge, while guest speakers offer crucial industry perspectives. You will have the opportunity to work on live briefs incorporated into your assignments, which will provide you with key practical experiences.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is the leading professional body for marketers worldwide and exists to develop the marketing profession, maintain professional standards and improve the skills of marketing practitioners.

We have joined forces with CIM to give students the opportunity to gain professional qualifications through the CIM Graduate Gateway. CIM qualifications are highly sought after by employers, and their content is reflected in our own degrees which ensures we are equipping students with the best opportunities for a successful marketing career.

Flexibility to specialise

An optional placement year takes you from the lecture theatre to the studio, office or boardroom, which gives you the opportunity to be put in real business scenarios during your time with us.

The final stage is about shaping a sustainable marketing strategy for a customer-led organisation.
