We’ve gathered all the courses you told us you were interested in and listed them in one place for you to browse and revisit easily. You can use our handy course search tool to add in any other courses you might be considering. We know there are so many courses to choose from, so this is a great way to narrow down your options.
Your campus
Your Derby Campus consists of several sites, all close together and within easy reach of accommodation and the city centre.
Kedleston Road is our biggest site, with a lively atmosphere. The huge Atrium space hosts markets and one-off events through the year. This site is also where you’ll find the Sports Centre, main library, Union of Students, shops and food outlets. Business, Education, Health, Humanities, Journalism and Science courses are taught at Kedleston Road.
It’s all about innovation and creativity at Markeaton Street. This is home to our Engineering, Computing and Mathematics courses, as well as Art, Design Media and Photography. Fashion and Textiles students are based in the Chandos Pole Street facility, right next door.
If you’re studying Theatre Arts, you’ll be based at our very own Derby Theatre, where you can get involved in all aspects of performance and production.
Our Journalism students learn at both Markeaton Street and Kedleston Road. The sites are a short walk from each other.

Britannia Mill, a restored former textile mill, is a creative space, with studios for Illustration, Interior Design and Fine Art.

This site is also where you’ll find the Sports Centre, main library, Union of Students, shops and food outlets. Business, Education, Health, Humanities and Science courses are also taught at Kedleston Road.
We have exciting plans for a new Business School in the city centre. Expected to open in 2024, it will place our students at the heart of Derby’s business community. Our plans include net zero carbon construction and operation for this innovative building.

You can choose to study our Nursing courses at our Chesterfield site. Our renovated Grade II listed building, St Helena, provides some of the best teaching facilities in the UK for Nursing courses.

The Union of Students is an important part of life here at Derby. Find your feet at Freshers’, join a sports club or society, or get involved in volunteering - your Union is here to help you join in and make the most of your time with us. And they can also offer support and advice if you need it.
Whether you are a performance athlete, love a bit of healthy competition, or prefer to play for fun, there are lots of ways to get involved in sport at Derby.
Whether you’ve already decided what you want to do in the future or still need to work that out, you’ll find support and guidance throughout your time with us. Work experience, placements, CV and job search advice, workshops and events - there’s plenty of help at hand.

We have a range of scholarships, bursaries and discounts available to international students; they can be used together to offer a reduction in your tuition fees. For some scholarships you will need to make an application when you have an offer to study. Others are automatically given to eligible students.
