On-campus and online

Get Ahead is a free welcome event for students who have a disability, long term health condition, Autism/Asperger Syndrome, are D/deaf, have a mental health condition or a Specific learning difference like dyslexia. It aims to give you the best possible start to your studies at the University.

Students who have attended the event tell us that they have learned to find their way around the University, have learned about effective strategies to support their student life and have been able to set themselves up for success in a way that suits them.

This event runs over two days on Thursday 16 September and Friday 17 September. Please note that the date and time of this event may be subject to change.

Students moving into halls of residence

Students who are staying in halls can move in on the afternoon of Wednesday 15 September at no extra cost.
