Interview Days at the University of Derby
Your Interview Day at the University of Derby
At the University of Derby, several of our courses require an interview prior to receiving an offer to study with us - this is completely normal and usually down to the course-specific entry requirements.
Our Interview Days are designed not only for us to assess your suitability for the course, but also for you to make sure you are choosing the right course and if the university is right for you.
We look forward to welcoming you to the University of Derby!
What to expect on the day
What happens on your Interview Day is determined by the course you have applied to study. You may be required to showcase your portfolio of work, discuss your work experience, take part in group discussions or demonstrate to the group, how you would teach a skill.
Interviews are held at various locations depending on the course you are applying for. The details of the interview location for your course, parking arrangements and how to get to the location can be found on your courses interview days information page.
