About

I am a postgraduate researcher in nature connectedness at University of Derby. My research is driven by my passion for working in the natural environment with young people. I am researching the impact of improving nature connectedness in adolescents and the benefits on wellbeing.

I have worked in Outdoor and Environmental Education for 14 years and have trained as a qualified teacher working in both schools and residential settings to bring nature into young people’s lives.

Thesis title 

Wellbeing in the Wild: A mixed methods approach to exploring nature connection, experiential learning and adolescent wellbeing.
