I am a Senior lecturer who teaches across both the FdSc International Spa Management and the BSc (Hons) International Spa Management. I am also the scheme leader responsible for the Accelerated degree programmes across the school of hotel, resort and spa management.

I lecture across many modules of the programmes alongside module leadership and personal tutor responsibilities: The modules I currently teach include; 

Professional interests

Having spent over 15 years within the hospitality and spa industry; predominantly within 5 star international environments I have a huge interest in the current trends, staffing concerns and operationalisation of graduates going into the industry. Providing spas across the world with work ready graduates.

How to embed real world learning within the spa and wellness industry.

Experience in industry

From my fifteen years experience, I have spent over 6 years of management experience throughout the Hospitality and Spa industry. Throughout these years I have combined the cultural environments of The USA, Bermuda, the UK and the Maldives, the cultural work ethic of Asia, Indonesia, Europe, Thailand and Australasia, along with my passion for service and a fine eye for detail into the expanding Spa industry. Excellent leadership, team building skills, along with the experience of leading a multicultural team has led to my passion for Spas to increase. I also have a background in Pre-opening.

Over 6 years of working abroad in five star luxury resorts and spas.
