After graduating from Brawijaya University, Indonesia with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Yudhi worked in the automotive industry with Isuzu Indonesia for five years. The first position was as a Product Planner and later as a Product Design Engineering Coordinator. He then moved to the next step of product development and worked at an automotive tool manufacturing company as a Tool & Die Design Section Head at FUJI Technica Indonesia for six years.

Yudhi gained his MSc in Engineering by research after completing the research project, funded by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), on additive manufacturing / 3D printing at Lancaster Product Development Unit (LPDU), Lancaster University, in 2009.
In July 2016, he completed his PhD in Computer-aided Design (CAD), additive manufacturing/3D printing and consumer design at Loughborough Design School funded by Loughborough University.

Within IISE, Yudhi is working on new product design and development, prototyping and testing, product and process improvement, and VR application.
