About

I am a lecturer in Business and management, in the College of Business, Law and Social Science. My research area focuses on strategic transformation and cross-cultural studies. I am also focusing on entrepreneurship and strategic human resource management (SHRM). I have abroad experience in the field of empirical studies. I am a Fellow of the HEA (Higher Education Academy) in 2019 with HE teaching experience.

Teaching responsibilities

I teach PG and UG modules, I am the module leader of the MBA Transformational program. I am also supervising PhD and DBA students.

Professional interests

My major research topic is developing the Organisational Receptivity for Change (ORC) framework and using Chinese State-owned enterprises (SOEs) as a research context, applied Organisational Receptivity for Change (ORC) to investigate changes in Chinese SOEs.

I am also interested in cross-culture research, especially focusing on the different perspectives between Western and Eastern contexts when explaining or applying management theories.

Research interests

I am good at research methods, especially the quantitative method. I have plenty of experience in empirical studies in a cross-cultural context.

My research area focuses on strategic transformation and cross-culture studies. I am also focusing on entrepreneurship and strategic human resource management (SHRM).
