Professional interests

Been involved in educational sector for over a decade in a wide range of roles supporting and innovating in use of technology to enhance learning. I pride myself as someone who sits in between the academic and technical divide and communicate effectively with both sides.

I have worked with notable universities and government agencies like JISC to drive the educational technology agenda in a range of learning providers from HE, FE, WBL, ACL and specialist colleges.

Currently heading the Academic Innovation Hub team at university of derby that drives the Academic Innovation agenda within the University. 

Research interests

My key areas of Research interests are

Improving retention through use of technology and learner Analytic, Innovation in Learning design and pedagogy and the role innovation and technology in changing educational delivery models, MOOCs, Learning patterns in online learning.
