I am a Senior Lecturer with 38 years' clinical experience in the NHS and private sector. I support teaching, learning, assessment and development of clinical skills within the nursing programmes, from academic level 3 through to level 7. I also promote excellence in student experience to develop Nurses for the future workforce.

Teaching responsibilities

I am the Personal Academic Tutor for students on the BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing, BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing with Foundation Year, and BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing Degree Apprenticeship programmes

I am also responsible for:

My research interests are in role identity and performance related to compassion in practice.
