Working as a Senior Lecturer on the LLM/LPC at Derby Law School enables me to apply the knowledge and skills obtained in private practice to the taching environment.

Teaching responsibilities

Recent conferences

I attended a SAPROF Conference organised by Tully Associates in November 2019, dealing with the importance of identifying protective factors when undertaking a risk assessment for violent offenders.

Experience in industry

In my time working within the criminal justice system I have represented clients charged with the full range of criminal offences. I have also worked in the immigration detention and deportation jurisdictions as well as the Parole Board and prison environment.

I design courses in my fields of specialism for MBL Seminars which I deliver to the profession nationally.
