Dr Shao Ying (Peggy) Zhu is a Senior Lecturer in Computing at the Department of Computing and Mathematics in the College of Engineering and Technology at the University of Derby, UK. She is the programme leader for MSc Advanced Computer Networks, BSc (Hons) Computer Networks and Security, and final year tutor for BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Bsc (Hons) Computer Networks and Security. She is also the Cisco Legal Main Contact for the Cisco Networking Academic at the University of Derby. Her teaching and research are mainly on the subject areas of computer networks and security. Currently, she teaches Advanced Security Protocols, Advanced Network Routing,Networks and Security  Wide Area Networks and Network Routing and Switching Ethical Hacking and Subject in Computer Science. She has published a number of international conference and journal papers.
