About

I have been working within the environmental consultancy industry for several years, carrying out environmental impact assessments for noise and air quality for commercial and residential developments. I have worked with many clients within the minerals industry to obtain planning decision notices from many local authorities across the UK. I hold membership to the Institute of Engineering and Technology and the Engineering Council.

My research interests are centred around the field of acoustics, bringing in elements from my industrial experience within the area, and previous academic studies at the University of Derby.

The research I am undertaking is primarily from an auditory perspective but also bringing in other contributing environmental factors. These elements include air quality, socioeconomic, and vibration.

Thesis title 

Is the experience of the urban environment changing with ever increased emphasis on sustainable development, infrastructure, and need for green spaces?
