My areas of expertise are Political Sociology and Quantitative Methods. Students are encouraged to contact me for an appointment to discuss their applied research projects and/or methodological questions.

Teaching responsibilities

I lead on the following modules: Political Participation: Elections, Social Movements and Protest; Researching the Social World; Social Research Methods 1, and Social Research Methods 2.

I am also part of the teaching team of Thinking Sociologically; Capitalism, Culture and Class: Social Theory in Classical Modernity; Applied Research Project; and Independent Study Project.

Research interests

My interests lie in Comparative Political Behaviour; Public Opinion; Political Attitudes, and Quantitative Methods. In particular, I am interested in the following research areas:
